Feet & Nails & Ears & Tails
Sunday 6th October 2019
11am ~ 4pm
At St Brides Wentlooge Village Hall, Newport, NP10 8SH
The day will start at 11am when there will be a welcoming cup of tea and biscuit and a general introduction will be given - explaining the importance of good grooming and equipment needed.
All our demonstrators have owned Welsh Springers for many years, they have shown them successfully at all levels and are very knowledgeable about the breed.
There will be lots of tips on offer at this very informal day - especially how to look after those tricky bits such as their feet, nails, ears and tails.
This workshop will not only teach you how to groom your dog ready for the showring but for their everyday health and well being. A well groomed dog will not only earn you many compliments when out and about but will ensure you have a happy dog at all times.
After the introduction you will be able to observe any of the groomers as they demonstrate on several volunteer Welshies - if you would like your WSS trimmed as part of the demo, we have a limited number of places at £15 each - contact us now to book a place - first come, first served.
The cost for the day, to look and learn will be £8 and there will also be tables available to maybe have a go yourself under expert guidance.
Light refreshments will be available throughout the day (at a small cost).
